The following steps outline how to pay with a contactless bank card (excluding AMEX). The order of the instructions is important.

1: Press The triangle on the Payter terminal (see the photo).

2: Select the locker number on the keypad

3: Hold your card or device near the Payter terminal until it beeps.

4: Wait a moment for the locker to buzz and open.

AMEX is not supported

The following steps outline how to pay with notes and coins. Change is given. £20 and £50 notes will not work, as well as copper coins and 5p.

1: Insert coins and notes

2: Select locked number with keypad (can be done first on cash only)

3: Wait a moment for the locker to buzz and open.

4: Don't forget your change! Hold the button near the coinslot to cancel and return any credit added.

1p, 2p, 5p coins and £20 and £50 notes are not accepted. We are sorry.
